The purpose of the Association is to provide grounds, housing, facilities, and accommodation for youth and adult camps, and other groups and organizations to hold meetings, activities, retreats, sports, conferences, and other events for the purpose of providing educational, recreational, and physically and mentally challenging programs and activities which develop and promote experiences, knowledge, and skills, related to social interaction, outdoor experiences, and environmental awareness and sustainability values. Members must be at least 18 years of age.
Rights of Members:
– To apply for election to the Board of Directors.
– To attend Board of Directors meetings.
– To serve on board committees.
– To be notified of the Association’s Annual Meeting.
– To be notified of bylaws amendments.
– To have access to the camp property according to the camp visitor policy.
– To attend member events.
Responsibilities of Members:
– To follow camp rules (rules disseminated to members annually).
– To support the camp by promoting it to business associates, friends, and neighbors; making donations and/or attending fundraising events; and volunteering for camp clean-up days and other events when volunteers are needed
