**Updated as of May 25 2023**

Dear Camper Families,

We have updated our Covid policy for Camp this summer.  We have eliminated the need for testing prior to drop off.  We are still requiring a consent for symptomatic testing during the week, but only if the camper has a Covid symptom that cannot reasonably be explained by a known condition (nursing judgement).  The test will be administered by our on-site registered nurse.

The consent form should then be brought with the registration paperwork on the day of drop off.  All campers must have a signed consent form to stay at camp.

There will be one new step to the registration process to help with the health screening process.  We will ask each parent/guardian to read and verbally answer 3 questions concerning camper symptoms and exposure.  If the answer to any question is yes, we will need to perform a rapid test at that time to assure there is no active infection. If someone besides the parent/guardian is dropping off your camper, please be sure they are prepared to answer questions about your camper’s current health and exposure.

Please let us know if you have any questions.  We appreciate your support as we navigate through the changing guidelines being shared with us.  As always, our main concern is keeping all campers and staff healthy so they can enjoy their time at Camp Shaw.
