I’m Squirt (Deb Needham), and I am delighted to be the Office Manager at Camp Shaw. I’ve been coming to camp since I was a camper (with Cookie in the 70’s), following in my mom’s footsteps – she camped here in the 50’s! I was a counselor during my high school years. My sisters, cousins, sons, and nephews camped here and I was delighted to see Snak Shak and Pato (my 2 sons) and Katniss and Prim (my 2 nephews) work on staff. My sister Lou Who and cousin Pokey are dedicated volunteers as well.
I’ve had the pleasure of working at camp for many years, as a volunteer counselor, as the president and member of the board of directors, director, kitchen director, and currently as the office manager. I love to see campers trying new activities, appreciating the beauty of nature, making new friends, sharing a cabin, and living electronics-free! I also enjoy working with our wonderful staff and our amazing volunteers.
