I’m Blu (Breanna Gifford) and I am overjoyed to be Camp Shaw’s Assistant Director. I started coming to camp as a volunteer in 2016, and my first summer on staff was in 2018. Former roles I’ve held are Cabin Counselor, Archery Instructor, Nature Program Intern, Lead Zipline Facilitator and Program Director.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Geology. I’m currently in graduate school to get a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Nonprofit Management. I am passionate about sustainability and encouraging others to explore nature and discover the wonders it holds.
Camp Shaw has quickly become one of the places closest to my heart, and I am determined to continue providing an impactful overnight summer camp experience to all our wonderful campers, new and old, as well as increase our presence in the community year-round.
