Camp Shaw-Waw-Nas-See is a recipient of the 2023 Community Stewardship Challenge Grant. This grant from the Illinois Clean Energy Community Foundation is intended to encourage increased community participation in the care of natural areas and wildlife habitat managed by nonprofit organizations in Illinois.

If you’d like to know more about this grant and its specific requirements,  you can follow this link. Volunteers can primarily plan to help with cutting, burning, and removing invasive honeysuckle on Camp property.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out to Stephen Hill.
