Experience Camp Shaw in a more natural setting! Our Outdoor Adventure Camp program is a great option for campers who want to try something new at camp. We offer two outdoor adventure camp options during our Extreme Camp sessions, both in June and July. Campers may bring their own tents, or can use tents provided by camp.
Our Extreme Camp Outdoor Adventure program runs for 6 nights and 7 days. During this week, campers will participate in more activities with other outdoor adventure campers, but still may be involved in select camp-wide activities. The program is intended for campers who want to experience more adventurous activities, such as longer hikes, extended time in the creek, and an enhanced zipline adventure. Campers will learn to use a compass and do orienteering, they will learn outdoor survival skills. We are working on the possibility of them being able to rappel on our beautiful cliff above the creek! Outdoor Adventure Campers will attend most meals in the dining hall, but some meals and/or snacks may be cooked outdoors.

Please remember we will not begin check-in early as camp staff need to prepare for the week and are busy getting ready for your camper prior to 2 pm. Please include all adults that may pick your camper up on the Authorized Pickup form and remind them to bring a picture ID to present at the pick-up station.
